It’s San Andreas’ Fault
Not much progress today. Partly due to being very tired and partly due to my purchase of GTA:San Andreas for PC.
I’ve loved all the other GTA games, even the 2D top-down incarnations and GTA:SA is something I’ve been looking foward to for a while, as have others. It isn’t without niggles — for some reason it won’t recognise my USB connected Playstation controller as the joypad and I couldn’t get the mouse and keyboard controls to be as I wanted — but it has all the cinematic polish and feeling of space to play in that Vice City had, so I expect to lose some time to it over the next few months.
I have some time off work coming up at the end of the week, so I’m going visiting over the weekend, resulting in no progress for a few days. In order to offset this, I hope push through to my first PSP page displaying some map information before I go for the weekend. When I get back I’ll still have a day or two free to tidy things up or to think about some initial “tick” processing tests implementations.
